It's funny how when you are around that kind of stuff for long enough you forget that those kinds of diseases (cancer) happen to real people and you talk about it all very casually. I remember when I worked for a urogynecologist doing some transcription. I started casually talking about incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse with someone. And then I heard myself say, "and you know, most people don't know it's a problem that can be fixed with a couple of simple procedures....." As you guessed, shock, horror, disgust etc. etc. Hopefully it only takes once to learn that lesson, but if you are like me it may take years. Best of luck!Katherinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12912502224709530493noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2374072447952002315.post-18195929122880230382011-02-11T14:24:28.889-07:002011-02-11T14:24:28.889-07:00When I was expecting Lizzie, a first year wagged h...When I was expecting Lizzie, a first year wagged his finger at my belly and said, "You know, your body is never going to be the same after this." I nearly hit him. Fortunately for all involved, he didn't end up in OB.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16321026672743683657noreply@blogger.com
